In my current position with New York City's Bureau of Recycling and Sustainability, I manage Strategic Partnerships and Outreach for the Bureau. This includes managing recycling programs, training commercial establishments, residents, and DSNY employee's. I work alongside the Communications team on designing marketing materials and timelines, and manage fruitful relationships between the Bureau and its stakeholders. This year I have successfully trained 1,000 DSNY sanitation workers, enforcement agents and supervisors on Citywide, Zero Waste recycling protocols. I'm lucky enough to have the opportunity to design workshops and trainings for NYC's Strongest Department.

In March of this year, I received a grant from Pratt Institute, to travel to Tanzania and facilitate a workshop; Bridging Opportunities, that was strategically designed (needs assessments and focus groups) for the women of the Tanzanian Women in Coffee Alliance and Tanzanian government officials. The workshop was designed to provide the women of TAWOCA , the skills needed to create their small businesses and to help increase their yearly margins and revenue for their current businesses. These workshops included Strategic Marketing, Financial Reporting, and Grant Writing.

This past August I was invited to be a speaker for TechStars Port-au-Prince Start-Up Week. I facilitated 2, three hour workshops to groups of 30-40 attendee's on the essentials of Sustainable Product Design + Eco-Fashion Design. This workshop was created to introduce innovation and design thinking to the community, providing them the tools to take their ideas from the problem discovery phase through to the phase of product/service deployment.

Lastly, this past spring I had the opportunity to be a quest speaker at the Fashion Institute of Technology for their Fair Trade and Sustainability Course, alongside Professor Andrea Reyes. Here I spoke to junior and senior students on the components of Sustainable Fashion and Fair-trade Certified products.
